Sugar Hit at Azuma Patisserie, Sydney

So I’ve been pretty late to the Crave Sydney Food Festival game. But thanks to the diary-synching powers and ultra organisation of Amy from Pretty Pretty Yum Yum, I got to enjoy the Sugar Hit dessert special on offer at Azuma Kushiyaki. It’s two bento boxes of awesome, and its crowdpulling power has led to […]

Adriano Zumbo at World Chef Showcase

Here’s a little blog candy for you. This was one of the Wasabi Macarons that were given out at the Adriano Zumbo session at Sydney International Food Festival, where the pastry chef blew the secret on Margaret Fulton’s birthday cake (it’s going to be several shades of vanilla) and delivered his ever-sweet take on Japanese […]

Sergi Arola and Brent Savage at World Chef Showcase

Din Tai Fung dumplings being prepared outside the World Chef Showcase at Star City The lifespark of this blog has to be the very first dinner I had at Bentley Restaurant and Bar in Surry Hills. That one meal led to a full-blaze curiosity about this city’s food districts, as well as immense awe for […]

Sweet tooth workout at the Food Festival World Chef Showcase

I was lucky enough to lurk around the World Chef Showcase that was just on as part of Sydney International Food Festival. Now I’m home and very, very tired. Hopefully I’ll get to blog about the sessions I attended soon … In the meantime, here is a little pic of the showbag from the session […]

About

Hi, I'm Lee Tran Lam. When not blogging with my mouth full, I'm usually writing, presenting Local Fidelity on FBi radio, making zines, producing podcasts or continually breaking promises about how I really am gonna get through my book pile one day.

All the good pictures on this blog are by photography ace (and patient boyfriend), Will Reichelt, (all the dodgy ones can be credited to me)!

The lovely banner is by friend and ultra-talented illustrator Grace Lee.

This site redesign was made possible by the next-level generosity and expertise of Daniel Boud, whose code-tinkering ways are only outranked by his seriously inspired way with a camera.

You can read more about my co-conspirators here.

This is a blog I do for pure fun and zero influence – there's no sponsorship, sneaky advertorial or advertising. I pay for all the food mentioned, 'cos it seems the ethical thing to do.
