Right now, it’s looking a bit sad on the blog front because I’m on holiday (and struggling with this German keyboard!). There will be LOTS to write about once I’m back though – so far, I’ve had everything from laksa pesto in Singapore to macaroons snatched off the baker’s tray in Paris, and the traditional traveller’s bad diet (one night, I had two tic tacs and water for dinner because it had taken so long to clear Customs that everything was closed by the time I got in to the city. But I can’t pin the shamefully unnutritional three-choc breakfast I had a few days later on airport personnel, that’s for sure.) So, once I’m back in the world of untricky keyboards and easy photo upload access, there’ll be pics galore and food tidbits (non-nutritional and otherwise).
PS. I am amazed I haven’t been arrested at any of the international airports for being a “chocolate mule” given the greedy-guts swag of cocoa goods I have accumulated along the way, including a bag of treats (cardamom, praline and cassis-flavoured) from Joséphine Vannier (a chocolatier also known for her eye-stunning chocolate renditions of musical instruments, famous modern paintings and life-sized stilettoes).
